International performing artist joins Princeton Pro Musica for December performance

Soprano Heather Phillips recently made her professional European debut at Oper Frankfurt in Germany singing the title role in Rossini's Bianca e Falliero––followed by several performances in Austria––and has a busy series of performances on American stages this season.

She will be heard in recital with Dayton Opera, on the opera stage with Charleston Opera Theatre, and in concert with Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra, Dayton Symphony Orchestra, and Princeton Pro Musica.

Of her upcoming performance in Princeton, Ms. Phillips shares:

"I am so looking forward to performing with Princeton Pro Musica this December. Not only am I looking forward to performing beautiful holiday classics, but I am also looking forward to a special reunion with Princeton Pro Musica's artistic director, Ryan Brandau. Ryan and I both grew up in Ohio and took piano lessons with the same piano teacher, Mrs. Carol Singer. This will be the first time I'll be seeing Ryan since we played in piano recitals together, more than 20 years ago. I am sure our piano teacher Mrs. Singer will be very proud that both of us have made careers in music and are reuniting to perform together. I can't wait to make music with Ryan as well as the rest of the wonderful musicians of Princeton Pro Musica."

Before we welcome her to Princeton for A Feast of Carols on December 11, get to know some of Heather Phillips' other work! We've created a playlist of some previous performances that will help you understand why we're so excited for her to share the stage with us next month. Please enjoy!
