Dan Spira

Member, Board of Trustees

Dan hails from Shaker Heights, OH and migrated east to live in New York City before moving to Princeton in 2008. He comes from a musical family and has been a dedicated amateur singer since joining his synagogue choir when he was 5 years old. His amateur music experience includes 14 years of elementary through college choir, lead roles in children's theater musicals, and even some very sketchy cover band singing in NYC. He joined Princeton Pro Musica in the spring of 2013 and joined the board in 2021.

Dan graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, OH, where being a member of the Men's Glee Club further cemented his love for music and provided his first experiences performing to sold out crowds. After college, he worked as a consultant for Accenture and then moved into a career leading technology teams and delivering complex technology solutions for large companies. He is currently Vice President, Infrastructure Operations at News Corp where he leads the team that runs the computers, networks, and databases powering News Corp's products around the world. Dan lives in Princeton, NJ with his wife, daughter, two canine "kids", and his "grandbunny".
