Princeton Pro Musica’s 2017 annual Cabaret Benefit a Great Success
Friends and patrons of Princeton Pro Musica dressed up or dressed for the 2017 theme, Back to Broadway, and enjoyed a festive evening of cabaret entertainment, delicious hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, a sumptuous buffet, silent auction, raffles, and the ever-popular wine-pull. Singers of Princeton Pro Musica treated guests to a wonderful mix of solos, duets, and ensembles from hit Broadway favorites including Les Miserables, The Music Man, The Fantastics, Fiddler on the Roof, and more! From the opening ‘Wilkommen” from Cabaret to the finale “It’s a Grand Night for Singing” from State Fair, guests were tapping their toes and recalling wonderful productions they had attended. Guest soloist, baritone Kenneth Wasser, and the Peter Laufer Trio delighted fans performing additional Broadway selections. Everyone enjoyed a fabulous evening while helping Princeton Pro Musica to produce thrilling concerts.

Gourmet dinner for six hosted by Artistic Director, Ryan James Brandau, in his West Village condo in New York City on a mutually convenient date. Weather permitting, the dinner begins with cocktails on the roof to admire the sunset and ends with a visit to a nearby piano bar. Value: $1,000
Bidders found the perfect selection of perennial plants for their gardens. Collection #1 included sun-loving plants. Collection #2 included plants suitable for shady gardens, and Collection #3 was composed of deer-resistant plants. Value: $90 per collection.
This Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Basket topped the Raffles table at the Cabaret! Value: $150
What a Party!
Cabaret 2017 … Back to Broadway … was Princeton’s most entertaining party. Baritone, Ken Wasserman, headlined the cabaret entertainment, and Princeton Pro Musica singers delighted attendees with solo and ensemble performance of Broadway favorites. One highlight of the evening was an impromptu collaboration between Ken and Carol Carpenter (wife of PPM Tenor, Tim Carpenter) singing, “If ever I would leave you” from Camelot. In Cabaret 2016 … And All That Jazz … jazz vocalist, Andrea Pizziconi, headlined the cabaret entertainment, and Princeton Pro Musica singers delighted attendees with solo and ensemble performance of jazz favorites.
