A Special Letter from Frances Fowler Slade
To our patrons,
After 32 years of making music with Princeton Pro Musica as Founder and Artistic Director, I have decided to “pass the baton” to a new Artistic Director at the end of the 2011-2012 season. My experience with Princeton Pro Musica has surpassed my wildest dreams. Now, the time seems right to pursue my other interests – contra dance, English country dance, hiking, travel, and other music making. I am tremendously proud to be taking this step at a time when Princeton Pro Musica is thriving.
A national search for my successor is well underway. The Princeton Pro Musica Board has appointed a search committee composed of members of the chorus and board as well as professional musicians and community representatives, and chaired by Princeton Pro Musica singer and Board member Carolyn Landis. To contact the search committee, write to .
I hope my final season will be very special indeed, continuing our tradition of uncompromising artistic excellence. I hope you will be part of it.
Thank you for your support over the years.
With all best wishes,
Frances Fowler Slade
Founder and Artistic Director
