Audition to sing with Princeton Pro Musica!

Auditions for all voice parts are held in June and August for the upcoming season.  Auditions for the 2017-18 season have concluded, and the chorus is fully enrolled at 110 singers.  If you are interested in auditioning, please e-mail to be added to the distribution list for future online audition appointments. When the next specific audition schedule has been established, you will receive an e-mail notice from Princeton Pro Musica with a link to “Sign-up Genius” where you can select your preferred time. Singers auditioning are asked to prepare one brief solo piece (please bring music for the accompanist), demonstrate an ability to sight-read one piece of the director’s choosing, and sing the appropriate part in choral music provided to you when you schedule your audition.

Auditions are held either at Princeton Pro Musica’s rehearsal venue or other location in Princeton convenient for Artistic Director Ryan James Brandau. PPM’s rehearsal venue is Christ Congregation, a church located at 50 Walnut Lane in Princeton, NJ on the corner of Walnut Lane and Houghton Road opposite both Princeton High School and Westminster Choir College.  You are welcome to park in the church parking lot entered from Houghton Road, and street parking is available on either Houghton Road or Walnut Lane.

You may select an audition time and date convenient for you from afternoon and evening appointments offered.  If you wish to discuss the audition process or have particular questions, please call the Princeton Pro Musica office at 609-683-5122.  Mary Trigg, PPM Executive Director, or one of PPM’s office volunteers will be happy to talk with you.

Thank you for inquiring about singing with Princeton Pro Musica.  Dr. Brandau and PPM singers look forward to welcoming you.
