As Executive Director of Princeton Pro Musica, Mary Trigg is responsible for administrative leadership of Princeton Pro Musica, a 100-voice auditioned chorus which performs masterworks with orchestra. Working with the Board of Trustees, Mary manages all business functions of PPM and represents PPM professionally. Mary simultaneously serves as Associate Minister of Music for Abiding presence Lutheran Church in Ewing, NJ where she conducts four choirs for singers ages 5 through adult and participates in planning and conducting music for all worship services and special events. Since May 2010, Mary has also taught voice and piano in a studio in her home. Originally trained to sing opera, she has sung professionally in churches, synagogues, and other choirs. While singing professionally, Mary has also worked in positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, administration, and office management for several corporations and nonprofit arts organizations.
Mary earned her BA in vocal performance at Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey) and MA in Voice at the Manhattan School of Music and studied Arts Administration at Columbia University. She also completed seminars in Music Education at Westminster Choir College (now a unit of Rider University). Mary has sung with Princeton Pro Musica since 1999 and served as an ex officio trustee since 2011.
